Ed Gannon

Ed Gannon

Ed Gannon is a licensed real estate agent who has been with John Hall and Company since the early ‘90s. He specializes in representing clients that have an interest in recreational farming, cattle or horse ranching, and wildlife management. 

Earlier in his career, Ed worked for Goldkist Agribusiness in south-central Alabama as a district salesman and grain procurement and Alabama Farmers Cooperative (AFC) in Decatur, Alabama as a District Manager. He also owned and operated AgSouth Supply in Fitzpatrick, Alabama, a full-service farm supply business with a fertilizer plant that specialized in recreational farming, wildlife management, and ranching.

Ed’s work and personal experience contribute to his enthusiasm for the outdoors. Whether it’s sharing his knowledge of hay production or his tips for hog hunting, Ed’s goal is for his clients to reap the benefits of Alabama’s land resources as responsible stewards. 

About Ed:

Ed and his wife, Carly live on a farm in Macon county and have one son and a five-year-old grandson where he enjoys hunting, turkey season, a good dove shoot, and hiking with my grandson. 

He believes in the value of teaching the younger generation woodsman, and sharing with his grandson is always a highlight. Ed appreciates the diversity of Alabama lands and continues to educate himself and others on the benefits and responsibilities of taking care of nature’s treasures.
